Vond deze nog op 1 van mijn oude mp3 dvd"s.
Helaas geen 320 kbps maar 192 kbps maar hij is gewoon van goede kwaliteit.
Weer een mooie cd van Stan Bush.
Stan "The Man" Bush is back with a brand new album called "Shine". His solo career started 21 years ago when he released his self-titled album in 1983, but it was in 1987 when he released the classic AOR album "Stan Bush & Barrage" that began to make waves.
After that gem he has released couple of albums in the 90s with various results. The production has been his biggest problem on many of his albums lately and so has the song quality. OK albums but nothing more.
In 1998 he returned to his rockier roots with the album "Heaven" that was mainly demos put on an album and the production was poor and that was a shame because the songs were really good.
In 2001 Stan released the album "Language Of The Heart", an album produced by Curt Cuomo. This was a more laid back mellow acoustic album that had nice moments but missed the good up-tempo rockers that "The Man" had spoiled us with through the years.
So now in year 2004 Stan returns with a new melodic rock/AOR gem and definitely back to his roots. "Shine" is a brilliant album and can be described as a mixture of "Language Of The Heart" and "Every Beat Of My Heart" with touches of his classic "Barrage" album.
Stan has a fantastic voice that is made for the songs on this album and he has yet again worked with Curt Cuomo that has produced and played the keyboards on the album. I have to say that the sound and production is really good, maybe the production is a bit raw but I still think this sounds much stronger and better than in a long time.
Featured on the album is an amazing line-up featuring Tim Pierce(Rod Stewart, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi), Matt Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Steve Perry, Peter Frampton), Kenny Aronoff (Celine Dion, Amanda Marshall, Richie Sambora, Meatloaf, Jon Bon Jovi) and former Boston and Airplay singer Tommy Funderburk helping out on background vocals.
"Shine" includes 10 songs and I have to admit that everyone is a treat for your ears and just listen to how "The Man" can sing.
